Chengalpattu DCPU Recruitment 2026 for 04 Social Worker and Other Posts

The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Chengalpattu has released a recruitment notification for 04 contract-based vacancies, including Security Officer (Company-based), SJPU Community Staff, and Social Worker posts. This opportunity is open to eligible candidates who meet the prescribed educational qualification and age criteria, and the application process will be completed through offline mode only.

Vacancy Details

The notification includes the following posts: Security Officer (Company-based) – 01 post, SJPU Community Staff – 02 posts, and Social Worker – 01 post. All selected candidates will be posted in Chengalpattu as mentioned in the official notice.

Eligibility Criteria

For the Security Officer (Company-based) post, candidates must hold a Post Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Public Health, or Community Resource Management from a recognized university. Alternatively, graduates in the same disciplines with 2 years of professional experience in project formulation, implementation, monitoring, and supervision may also apply, preferably in Women & Child Development or Social Welfare.

For SJPU Community Staff and Social Worker posts, candidates should be graduates, preferably with a B.A. in Social Work, Sociology, or Social Sciences from a recognized university. The notification also gives weightage to candidates with work experience and computer proficiency.

The maximum age limit for all three posts is 42 years.
