Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Uttar Pradesh has announced district-wise recruitment for Anganwadi Worker (Karyakatri) posts under UP Anganwadi Bharti 2026. This recruitment is open only for eligible female candidates who are residents of the same village, ward, or Nyaya Panchayat for the concerned district vacancy. The application process is online through the official portal, and more than 900 vacancies have been released so far across districts such as Rampur, Bijnor, Bahraich, Mirzapur, Muzaffarnagar, and others.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be female candidates and should have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board in India. The most important condition is local residency: the candidate must belong to the same village, ward, or Nyaya Panchayat for which she is applying. A residence or domicile certificate may be required during verification. The age limit mentioned in the notification is 18 to 35 years, with relaxation applicable as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.

The recruitment is being released district-wise, so the last date to apply is different for each notification. For example, some districts such as Muzaffarnagar, Unnao, and Mirzapur have earlier closing dates, while districts like Rampur, Bijnor, and Hardoi have later deadlines. Candidates must check the official district notification for the exact closing date before submitting the form.

Eligible candidates should visit the official registration portal and select the district-specific application link. After that, they must enter personal details, educational qualifications, and local residence information carefully. Scanned documents such as photograph, signature, educational certificates, and domicile proof should be uploaded in the prescribed format. Since there is no application fee, candidates can directly submit the form after verifying all details. A printout of the final application form should be kept safely for future reference.
